We fully support DIY ers and are happy to offer instruction and or support if you run into issues. I dont provide a material/labor breakdown in bids, ie: having me bid a job isn't going to get you (diyer) the info your looking for, so be sure to advise when scheduling your appointment.
Is always cheaper doing things right the first time. Unless you can verify the quality of workmanship, the various codes associated or material standards, your going to need a little help. Its called an owners rep and its not as expensive as it sounds.
